The 88av 888 (JPO) and ASEAN Intellectual Property Offices (IPOs) have strengthened their cooperation for the appropriate protection of intellectual property (IP).

The Japan-ASEAN Heads of IPOs Meetings are held every year since 2012. The JPO and the ASEAN IPOs have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) in the 2nd Meeting, and have reviewed cooperative initiatives through the formulation of the ASEAN IPOs -JPO IPR Action Plan for each fiscal year in the following Meetings.
